Welcome To The

California Center for Financial Education

Let’s face it – no one taught us financial management skills in school. Most of us learned the hard way, by making our own mistakes.
If we were lucky, we had a family member or friend who helped us open our first bank account, showed us how credit works, or helped us with our first loan.
Most of the time, we did the best we could without any instruction. Sometimes, our lack of knowledge got us into some financial trouble.
But we can change that – we can learn to manage our finances and take back control of our money so that our money stops controlling us.

About CCFE

The California Center for Financial Education (CCFE) is a collaborative program with the Ink People Center for the Arts, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization located on the coast of northern California.
The goal of the CCFE is to bring financial literacy and financial education classes and resources to as many people as possible.
It’s a place where people can go to ask financial questions and to get help with financial issues.
We provide support and information, access to in-person and online classes, and personalized one-on-one financial coaching as well as community speaking engagements.
We offer financial literacy programs to communities who do not currently have access to these resources and bring these programs into our schools and educational system, so that the next generation has the tools and resources to become more financially literate.
Financial education has the power to change lives. If you are as passionate about changing lives as we are, please consider becoming a volunteer or making a tax-deductible donation.
Thank you!
